I worked for 12 years in New York City for some of the biggest and best lawyers and law firms in the United States,  many of whom were former federal prosecutors, defending individuals and corporations in both  high stakes civil litigation and criminal prosecutions. I also did a great deal of compliance work for clients in highly regulated industries.  After moving to Los Angeles I brought that experience to the "cannabiz" and now devote a great deal of time and energy to defending the rights of individuals and their collective gardens to cultivate medical marijuana and access their medicine. This involves defense in criminal cases, litigation with municipalities, disputes with landlords, entity formation and compliance counseling.   I also represent clients in a vast range of federal criminal cases, including drug prosecutions.
