Barton Morris has specialized in defending DUI and drug related prosecutions since 1999. He is an expert in Michigan medical marijuana law and has been defending MMMA related cases since the law’s inception in 2008.

Barton has been assisting cannabis business interests as well setting up cultivation centers and dispensaries. He has specialized training in defending drug cases and in forensic science solid drug dose testing.

He is the only lawyer in Michigan designated as a forensic lawyer scientist by the American Chemical Society, the largest scientific professional organization in the country. Barton and his lawyers also specialize in drugged driving defense.

He has received specialized education in recent law enforcement curriculums including drug recognition evaluators and advanced roadside impairment evaluations. His law firm has successfully defended those in possession of marijuana, growers, caregivers and patients all over the state of Michigan.
