As the founder of The Kercheval Law Firm, Jason was born and raised in the Houston area, graduating from Klein Forest High School before heading off to the United States Naval Academy, graduating in 2002. After serving as a Naval Officer, Jason returned to Houston to attend law school at South Texas College of Law.
While at South Texas, Jason was one of 12 students chosen at first try-out to represent the law school as a traveling Mock Trial Advocate for the #1 ranked advocacy school in the nation. Chosen multiple times as a top-10 advocate, Jason's Mock Trial career ended when he was awarded the John O'Quinn Heart of an Advocate award.
Jason also served as a Judge Advocate with the Texas Army National Guard as the Trial Defense Services Trial Attorney, representing Soldiers from all over the state as a Defense Attorney for any cases under the Uniformed Code of Military Justice and the Texas Code of Military Justice.
Licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2011, member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Montgomery County Criminal Lawyers Association, the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association, The Woodlands Bar Association, the Criminal Law Section, Family Law Section, and the Military Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
Jaime Kercheval Joined the Kercheval Law Firm in September 2015 after several years practincing with Price & Price of Conroe, Texas. Jaime graduated from South Texas College of Law (now Houston College of Law) in 2012.
While in law school, Jaime was involved in the Nationally Ranked Trial Advocacy teams of South Texas.
An early high school graduate from nearby Oakridge High School's Academy of Science, Jaime graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Communications. Before deciding to go to law school, Jaime worked a variety of jobs in the banking industry, residential real estate flipping, psychology, and many others fields. Her unique education and background brings a perspective to the practice of law that is unmatched in the area.
Licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2013, part of the Board for the Montgomery County Bar Association, a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Montgomery County Criminal Lawyers Association, The Woodlands Bar Association, the Criminal Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, she is active in the community where she grew up, and enjoys helping people when the law enters their life.
