Case Results of Gerald Harris Goldstein

Michael Morton spent 25 years in prison after being wrongly accused of the murder of his wife in 1986. With the defense of Gerry Goldstein and other esteemed attorneys, Morton was released from prison on October 4, 2011, and officially exonerated of the charge in December 2011.

On September 17, 2014, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals overturned Hannah Overton’s capital murder conviction. In 2006, Overton was given a life sentence for the death of her soon-to-be adopted 6-year-old son over salt poisoning.

With the help of Cynthia Orr, Gerry Goldstein was able to get a death penalty case settled for aggravated assault.
