Robert Stephen Toale

Robert S. Toale has been practicing criminal defense in the New Orleans area for the past 30 years. His offices are in Gretna, LA. He has tried criminal cases in every court including federal and state district courts as well as Juvenile, Parish, and Municipal courts.

Robert is the President-Elect of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has testified before the Louisiana legislature on numerous occasions to change some of its most draconian laws.

In Louisiana, simple possession of marijuana carries up to a 6 month sentence for a first offense, up to 5 years for a second offense, and up to 20 years for a third or subsequent offense. Robert S. Toale has worked hard to change these laws.
