I am a Past President of the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association as well as a Past Board member.

I was awarded the Don Fiedler Excellence in Criminal Defense Award in 2013 from the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys.

I have been asked to present numerous times at seminars for the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association.

I presented at the National Juvenile Defenders Summit in New Orleans.

I have written several articles that have been published in the Habeas Corpus published by NCDAA.

I am currently a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

I have had articles and book reviews published the in The Champion the magazine of the NACDL.

I have been in practice since 1984 with most of my work being done in the area of Criminal Defense. I have handled over 30 homicide cases. I have handled numerous drug cases which have included marijuana cases. I have appeared in mutiple counties defending those drug cases.
