Attorney Biography
Active criminal practicioner since 1979. 1981, National College of Criminal Defense. Wrote defendant brief for Lake County Public Defender in Ohio v. Roberts, seminal U.S. Supreme Court case on confrontation for twenty-five years. Over 120 felony jury trials conducted and over 20,000 clients served in criminal matters at Courts of all levels, from Town and Village Courts to all Trial Courts in New York State, Southern and Eastern Federal District Courts, as well as the Northern District of Ohio. Longtime member of the Kings County Criminal Bar Association, New York State Defender's Association, and the New York Association of Criminal Defense Attorney's.
With a B.A. in theatre performance, a college debate background and a (continuing) lifetime of performing, including a Cleveland based rock band in the '70s, I bring a unique blend of advocacy, legal experience and personal empathy to each criminal defense matter.
Drug trials have included three month long A-1 Heroin conspiracy cases to simple mj possesion, trying approximately 40 felony drug matters.
